GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS: GÎTE DE MOUSSAN
ARTICLE 1 – Conclusion of the contract
The reservation will be effective after the owner has checked the availability of the gîte during the chosen periods. The reservation will be final after the tenant has sent the owner a deposit of 25% of the total rental amount and a copy of the rental contract dated and signed for reservations off the website. Reservation via the website implies acceptance of this contract and it is not necessary to return this signed contract.
The rental concluded between the parties to this deed cannot under any circumstances benefit even partially a third party, natural or legal persons, except with the written agreement of the owner. Any violation of this last paragraph would be likely to result in the immediate termination of the rental at the fault of the tenant, the rental proceeds remaining definitively acquired by the owner.
ARTICLE 2 – Cancellation by the tenant
Any cancellation must be notified to the owner at least:
3 days before arrival for stays less than 7 days
7 days before arrival for stays of 7 to 20 days
15 days before arrival for stays of more than 21 days.
If the stay is shortened, the rental price remains with the owner. No refunds will be made.
ARTICLE 3 – Cancellation by the owner
In the event of cancellation of the rental by the owner, he will reimburse the tenant in full for the sums paid.
ARTICLE 4 – Arrival/Departure
The tenant must appear on the day and at the time mentioned in this contract. In the event of late arrival, the tenant must notify the owner. If the tenant does not appear on the day mentioned in the contract, after a period of 24 hours, without notice to the owner, this contract is considered terminated and the sums paid remain with the owner who can dispose of his gîte. .
ARTICLE 5 – Payment
The reservation becomes effective once the tenant has sent the owner a deposit of 25% of the total rental amount. The balance must be paid on the day of arrival.
ARTICLE 6 – Inventory and inventory
Upon your arrival, it is necessary to notify us of any damage or lack of furniture or equipment. If you do not declare anything, the accommodation is presumed to have been delivered upon your arrival in good condition.
We reserve the right at the end of your stay to invoice any damage up to 260 euros.
Cleaning of the premises is the responsibility of the tenant during the rental period and before departure. If it is not done, it will be charged. The price is 25 euros for gîtes 1 and 5, 50 euros for gîtes 2,3,6,7 and 95 euros for gîtes 4.
ARTICLE 7 – Duration of stay
The tenant signing this contract concluded for a fixed period cannot under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.
ARTICLE 8 – Use of the premises
The tenant will enjoy the rental in a peaceful manner and will make good use of it. The tenant undertakes to return the furnished accommodation, upon departure, as clean and tidy as he found it upon arrival. Cleaning is not included in the base rate. It is possible to request the end-of-stay cleaning service.
ARTICLE 9 – Capacity
This contract is established for the maximum person capacity indicated on the rental contract. If the number of tenants exceeds the accommodation capacity, the owner may refuse the stay. In this case, no refund will be made.
ARTICLE 10 – Animals
This contract specifies whether or not the tenant can stay in the company of a domestic animal. In the event of non-compliance with this clause by the tenant, the owner may refuse the stay. In this case, no refund will be made.
ARTICLE 11 – Insurance
The tenant is required to insure the premises rented to him. He will therefore check if his main residence contract provides for the resort extension (vacation rental). Otherwise, he must take out the necessary extension, any theft during the rental period is the responsibility of the tenant.
ARTICLE 12 – Water and electricity
The supply of water and electricity is included in the rental price.
ARTICLE 13 – Tourist tax
The tourist tax collected by the community of communes of Baronnies in Drôme Provençale and the departmental council of Drôme will be paid by the tenant at the current rate, displayed in the gîte.

ARTICLE 14 - Access to the outdoor swimming pool
The swimming pool is accessible from mid-June to mid-September. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. We assume no responsibility in the event of a problem. The gate must always be kept closed to guarantee the safety of young children. Animals are not allowed. Eating is prohibited within the pool area.
